MARGARET A. MONTGOMERY

Margaret Ann ``Peggy'' Montgomery, 59, of 514 East 9th Ave., died 5:40 a.m. Friday, July 14, 1995, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Pa. She had been ill for the past nine years.

She was born Sept. 20, 1935, at Rillton, Pa., Westmoreland Co. She was a former resident of Norfolk, a payroll supervisor with Sovran Bank of Virginia in Norfolk, retiring on disability in 1986. She was a member of Scottish Rite Ladies of Norfolk. She attended Old Dominion University. She was the daughter of the late Percy W. Painter, Jr. and Lillian (Flais) Painter. She was a Catholic.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Edwin Elmo ``Mike'' Montgomery of Tarentum; two sons, Michael E. Montgomery of Virginia Beach and Jeffrey W. Montgomery of the home; a grandson, Taylor; and a brother, William Painter of New Kensington.

Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Duster Funeral Home Inc., Tenth Ave. at Corbet St., Tarentum. A Blessing Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, in the funeral home by the Rev. Donald J. Sotak. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Pa.
