LESBIANS SPARED TOUGH QUESTIONS

After reading the nauseating story of ``Alice and Carol,'' the lesbians portrayed as a pious couple serving the Lord, I have decided to cancel my subscription to your paper. What bothers me is not so much that you printed a story about homosexuals, but rather that the interviewer never challenged these supposed Christians, including their associate pastor, to justify their philosophy with Scripture.

If you had left God out of it, this would just have been another dime-a-dozen pro-homosexual article; but the huge picture of the couple in question praying set the tone for a discussion which was completely one-sided.

The Bible clearly states in both Old and New testaments (Romans 1:26-28 and dozens of other passages) that homosexuality is an abomination and clearly unacceptable in the Lord's eyes. This is not merely the opinion of the far right; it is the expressed word of God as taught in the Bible.

In the future, when one of your reporters is interviewing a homosexual, why not ask the tough questions expected of a professional journalist. That would provide some interesting reading.
