Margaret Williams Powell, 61, of the 2100 block of Ardmore Ave., died Saturday, July 15, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Powell was born in Burke County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Bryant and Donnie Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Raymond S. Powell of Chesapeake; her daughter, Debbie Powell, also of Chesapeake; her four sons, Randy Powell of Virginia Beach, Ronnie Powell, Greg Powell and Scott Powell, all of Chesapeake; three sisters, Charlene Fletcher of Drexel, N.C., Betty Bennett and Emma Carswell, both of Morganton, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Rodney Murphy, Alisa Murphy and Brandon Powell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. Chip Roberson. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
