John Walton Pillow, 82, formerly of 5252 Texas Ave., a retired construction worker, died July 15, 1995, in Louisville, Ky.
Mr. Pillow was born in Campbell County, Va. He had retired from REA Construction Co. He was the widower of Anna Pillow.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan P. Salie of Belleview, Neb.; a son, Gordon Douglas Pillow of Louisville; a sister, Blenza Pillow Rush of Madison Heights, Va.; three brothers, Herman Pillow of Lynchburg, Roger Pillow of Campbell County, Va. and Harold Pillow of Madison Heights, Va.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Living Word Pentecostal Church in Norfolk by the Rev. Dayton Burt. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
