Linda Barber Vann, of the 2600 block of Heston Road, a teacher at Green Run High School, died on July 15, 1995, at her home.
Mrs. Vann was born in Richmond and lived most of her life in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk, where she was a choir member and active in other church activities.
Mrs. Vann graduated from Norview High School in 1962. In 1984 she graduated cum laude from Virginia Wesleyan College. Mrs. Vann was a member of the Virginia Beach Country and Racquet Club where she was an active participant.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Vann, a son, Ronald Corey Vann, a daughter, Tara Lynn Vann, a sister, Sandra Barber Martin, all of Virginia Beach; her mother-in-law, Mary E. Vann of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Norfolk at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 1995 by the Rev. Richard E. ``Dick'' Baker and the Rev. Jeff Young. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the cancer foundation of their choice.
