FLOYD H. WHITE

Floyd Harry White, 92, died Friday, July 14, 1995, in Durand Convalescent Center.

Mr. White was born in Owosso, Mich. on Aug. 17, 1902 and was the son of Hubert and Minnie (Moss) White. He attended St. Paul's High School and was the class valedictorian. He was formerly employed with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and the Ann Arbor R.R. He was later employed with Consumers Power for 20 years having retired in 1968. He was predeceased by a brother, Adelbert White and a sister, Iva White.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; two daughters, Virginia (Bob) Burgess of Suffolk, Va. and Joan (Bruce) Jones of Owosso; seven grandchildren, Ira (Laura) Wikel, Scotty (Charlene) Wikel, Dana (Jim) Moring, Mike Jones, Kurt (Jennifer) Jones, Shawn (Eme) Burgess and Lori (Kevin) Fritz; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Nelson-House Funeral Home by the Rev. Mark Miller. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church.
