Your July 7 correction on the editorial page needs correction.
If you define ``majority'' as more than half, and if your figures of 1.01 billion Muslims, 0.75 billion Hindus, and 0.33 billion Buddhists are correct, then the total number of people of those religions equals 2.09 billion.
That number is greater than your total of Christians (1.87 billion). Therefore, you could say that Christianity is the world's largest religion but its members do not represent a ``majority'' of religious people in the world.
