LOUIS C. CORNICK

Louis Carter Cornick, 94, of the 6000 block of Upper Brandon Place, died July 16, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Cornick was a native of Charles City County, Va., and was retired from Cavalier Shipping Company. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired as a Commander from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Norfolk, and was a former member of Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth S. Cornick of Norfolk, Va.; one son, L. Carter Cornick Jr. of Annandale, Va.; two grandchildren, L. Carter Cornick III of Alexandria and Virginia Cornick Coyle of Fairfax; and three great-grandchildren, Christopher Tucker Coyle, Kelsey Marie Coyle and Elizabeth Macon Cornick.

A church service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today in Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church by the Rev. Andrew K. MacBeth and the Rev. James H. W. Sell. Burial will be at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal High School, 1200 North Quaker Lane, Alexandria, Va. 22003. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
