LESLIE SCOGGINS SR.

Leslie Scoggins Sr., of the 3000 block of Fairview St., died July 16, 1995.

He was a native of Boykins, Va., and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Scoggins; one daughter, Brenda C. Elliott of Chesapeake; one stepdaughter, Tiara G. Etheridge of Virginia Beach; three sons, Leslie Scoggins Jr., Jason P. Scoggins, and Willie L. Scoggins, all of Norfolk; one stepson, Ronnie L. Wilson of Chesapeake; one sister, Edith F. Johnson of Norfolk; one half-sister, Mary S. Cook of Balitmore, Md.; two brothers, Lawrence Scoggins of Richmond and Cleon Scoggins of Philadelphia, Pa.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Joseph Elliott Jr. of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Community Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
