Beryl C. Clarke, 76, of the 2100 block of Dove Ridge Drive, died July 16, 1995 in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Clarke was a nursing assistant and was born in Portland, Jamaica. She was the widow of Astan Clarke.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd I. Clarke of Virginia Beach; one sister, Olive Brodber of Jamaica; one brother; two grandchildren, Brian Clarke and Andrew Clarke, both of Virginia Beach; and one niece, Yvonne Baker of New York, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be private and at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
