Alberta Lewis McDaniel, 85, formerly of Norfolk, died on Tuesday, July 18, 1995, in a nursing facility in Dunnloring, Va.
She was born in Norfolk, and was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, James F. McDaniel Sr.
Survivors include two sons, David L. McDaniel of Annandale, Va., and James F. McDaniel Jr. of Buckingham, Va., and four grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 1995, in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Charles H. Smith. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Park Place United Methodist Church, 500 W. 34th St., Norfolk 23508. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
