Landmark Communications Inc. of Norfolk named a former Time Warner Inc. executive as the top executive for its rapidly growing travel enterprises. Kevin D. Senie, a Landmark executive vice president who joined the media company from Time Warner in 1992, was promoted to the newly created position of president and chief executive of Landmark's Travel Channel Networks. Senie will oversee Landmark's travel channels in the United States, Latin America and Europe, as well as its mass-market travel agency, The Vacation Store, which is based in Virginia Beach. Since joining Landmark, Senie has helped develop the company's strategy for travel enterprises. He will relocate from Norfolk to Atlanta, where The Travel Channel is based. by CNB
