DISTRICT A

Rape, Bradford Drive, July 1, someone reports being forced to have intercourse with her father.

Breaking and entering, 6000 block Bradford Drive, July 1, someone pried open the lock on the rear door of a house. A Stevenson 12-gauge shotgun, an Old Timer knife in a leather case and two ammunition boxes containing small tools were removed. The estimated value was $120.

Grand larceny, 4900 block Lake Prince Drive, June 29, someone entered a residence and removed a JVC VCR.

Child abuse, 3600 block Labrador Lane, July 1, a woman reports that someone struck her child, causing multiple bruises.

DISTRICT C

Forgery, Suffolk Plaza, July 1, someone signed and presented a check from another person's account.

Petty larceny, 500 block Second Ave., July 2, someone removed a Virginia inspection sticker from a vehicle.

DISTRICT D

Petty larceny, 100 block North Main St., June 28, someone entered a vehicle and removed a Sony portable CD player and a Virginia inspection sticker.

Petty larceny, 500 block County St., June 29, someone removed a Virginia inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Woodrow Ave., June 29, someone broke in through a rear door and removed a 19-inch color TV and a microwave from a residence.

Grand larceny, 1000 block Portsmouth Blvd., July 1, someone removed a Sanyo stereo receiver CD player from a display case.

Breaking and entering, 1100 block Myrtle St., July 2, someone kicked open the rear door of a business and removed about $250 from a money box locked in the front office. The approximate damage to the door was $50.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Bullock St., July 2, someone removed a 24,000 Btu Whirlpool air conditioning unit from a living room window.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Pinner St., July 2, someone removed a computer, monitor, printer and a GE microwave oven from a residence.

Lost/stolen, 300 block Holladay St., July 2, someone reports a Suffolk decal lost or stolen.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Nancy Drive, July 2, while the resident was on vacation, someone broke into a secured house and removed a rusted and inoperable .32 caliber pistol and a Super Nintendo game system.

Hit and run, 300 block Baker St., July 3, after a pursuit on Dill Road, someone drove a vehicle into a yard, striking an oil fill cap and breaking it off at the ground. The driver fled on foot.

Possession, cocaine, 100 block Bailey Circle, July 5, after a man was arrested for felonious assault, a pipe containing cocaine residue was found in his pocket during a search.

Breaking and entering, 2500 block East Washington St., July 5, someone returned home to discover that the dining room window screen had been cut. The window was cracked and partially off track.

Breaking and entering, 300 block South Main St., July 5, someone pried off the lock of a shed and removed a push mower, a blue and white BMX bicycle and a black BMX bicycle.

Grand larceny, 2200 block East Washington St., July 6, someone removed a stereo system valued at $800, a gold bracelet valued at $328, a microwave valued at $135 and a phone valued at $95 from his car while it was parked in front of a residence.

Petty larceny, 300 block North 4th St., July 7, someone removed the rear and front Virginia state license plates from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 1000 block Nansemond Parkway, July 7, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 300 block Goodman St., July 8, someone reports that a person removed three $20 bills from the pages of a book left on a kitchen table. The suspect is also believed to have removed $85 earlier in the evening.

Breaking and entering, 200 block Suburban Drive, July 10, someone forced entry into a maintenance shop office and attempted to force entry into an operations office. Miscellaneous items were removed.

DISTRICT E

Grand larceny, South Quay Road and Jasmine Lane, June 28, someone broke the lock assembly of a 2-door, white '74 Ford truck. A large red generator with handle and wheels was removed.

Breaking and entering, 5500 block Greenwood Drive, July 3, someone entered a residence by prying open a sliding glass door.

DISTRICT F

Breaking and entering, 100 block Forest Glen Drive, July 3, the door to a garage work area was discovered unlocked, and several items were missing, including batteries, tools and vehicle parts. ILLUSTRATION: CRIME LINE

Suffolk police need your help to find the operator of an

automobile that struck a pedestrian July 5. You can earn a cash

reward if you help make an arrest.

Sharon Wilkins, 36, was walking at Hunter and Webb streets at

about 1 a.m., when she was struck from behind and knocked into a

ditch. She suffered a broken right leg and a number of bruises.

If you have any information about this hit-and-run incident, call

bring a reward up to $1,000.
