Mary Helen White, 63, of the 200 block of Benson Lane, died July 18, 1995.
Mrs. White was born in Belfore, N.C., on February 9, 1932. She had been employed as a telephone operator and was the daughter of the late James and Mary Starnes. She was a member of Great Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Frank E. White; two daughters, Karen L. Balley of Chesapeake, and Janice E. Hoehne of Virginia Beach; one son, Russell Dale White of Chesapeake; three sisters, Doris Rogers of Charleston, S.C., Joanne Dripper and Gertrude Fair, both of Oakridge, Tenn.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday in Great Hope Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. John Godfrey. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening, July 20, 1995.
