Edith V. Daniels, 89, of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, died July 18, 1995.
She was a native of Norfolk and was a former member of New Calvary Baptist Church. She was a member of Sons of Norfolk and the Phyllis Wheatley organization.
Survivors include her son, Charles M. Daniels Sr. and his wife, Catherine H. of Chesapeake; one niece, Mary Myrick of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Phyllis Ray of Dallas, Texas, Gail Williams of Chesapeake and Charles M. Daniels Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Rufus Jackson. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Saturday at 900 E. Princess Anne Road for the procession to the cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
