CAUSE OF DEATH SOUGHT

Police are waiting for an autopsy report on an unidentified man whose body was found in a home in the 200 block of Pearl St.

``There does not appear to be any foul play,'' said Capt. W.G. Williams of the Elizabeth City Police Department.

Williams said the man, who was probably around age 30, may have been a migrant worker from Florida. The man spent a night in the Pearl Street home.

People who were staying without permission in the home, owned by the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Schools, reported the death to police early Tuesday morning, Williams said.

The man had no identification, and police have not found anyone who knew him, Williams said.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Elizabeth City police at 335-4321.
