3350 Elm Ave. - Police responded to area where motorist reported driving recklessly and were told driver had tried to run over children. While taking report, police said suspect vehicle drove toward them at high rate of speed, veering off at last minute. Police said driver went through red lights and hit car stopped at light at high rate of speed. Eleven warrants secured.
1000 block of County St. - 34-year-old man said hit in head with handgun and kicked during attempted robbery about 11:30 p.m. July 15.
