Martha Caroline ``Carrie'' Miller, 77, formerly of Centerville Turnpike, died Thursday in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born in Creswell, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Melissa Alice Twiddy. She was the widow of the late Orath Haskell Miller.
Survivors include her three daughters, Melissa Alice Brickhouse of Moyock, N.C., Gloria Jean White of Suffolk and Shirley Ann Phelps of Chesapeake; her two sons, Thomas Haskell Miller and James Lovett Miller, both of Chesapeake; three brothers, Robert Twiddy of Sauage, Md., Shelbert Twiddy, also of Maryland and Julius Twiddy of Elizabeth City, N.C.; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 1995, at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
