Richard L. Dunston Jr. died July 18, 1995 in the VA hospital in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Dunston was a native of Norfolk and was born Jan. 3, 1960. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his mother, the Rev. Inez Dunston of Norfolk; his father, Richard L. Dunston Sr. of Chesapeake; one sister, Tamiko Majette of Norfolk; three brothers, Dwight Dunston of New Jersey, Byron and Julius Dunston, both of Norfolk; his maternal grandmother, Lucinda Williams; one brother-in-law, Lawrence Majette; seven nieces, six aunts, two uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, 1710 Springfield Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Richard A. Councill at 1 p.m. Monday. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday. There will be a wake service Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
