Dorothy Pallett Merlino, 61, of 244 Gatewood Ave., died Friday, July 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Princess Anne County and Virginia Beach. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Vincent Merlino Sr. Mrs. Merlino retired in 1994 after 18 years with the City of Virginia Beach General Division as a custodian.
She is survived by one son, Joseph V. Merlino Jr.; two daughters, Vicki L. Fersch and Maria M. Conner; one brother, Wesley Pallett; and six grandchildren, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Princess Anne Memorial Park, N. Great Neck Road. The family will be at Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel, Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. and all other times at the residence of Joseph, 1296 Warner Hall Road, Red Mill Farms, Virginia Beach.
