NORMA A. BRYAN

Norma Agnes Bryan, 74, of Plantation Lakes, died July 21, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Bryan was born in Woonsocket, R.I. She was retired from the National Geographic Society in Washington, was the widow of Charles F. Bryan, was an active member of Catholic Church of St. Mark, was founder and president of Sassy Senior Citizens, was a member of Great Bridge Senior Citizens and was a volunteer and member of the auxiliary of Chesapeake General Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce E. Suthard of Virginia Beach; and a grandson, P. Bryan Suthard of Tampa, Fla.

A wake service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Father Daniel Klem. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the wake service until 4 p.m. Her body will be sent to Woonsocket, R.I., for a funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Church of St. Mark, 1505 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464 or to a charity of one's choice.
