Mary Alice Veazie, 76, of the 6900 block of Respass Beach Road, died July 21, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of North Adams, Mass., and was the widow of John Edwin Veazie. She was a member of the Elizabeth River Artists, Portsmouth Museum and the Tidewater Guild, and she was Episcopalian. She was an art teacher for the City of Portsmouth Public School System.
She is survived by one daughter, Mara Bass of Virginia Beach; one sister, Elizabeth Dyson of North Adams, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is handling the arrangements.
