Marie Kincaid Powell, 86, of 220 Meadow Lane, died Saturday, July 22, 1995.
Mrs. Powell was a native of Morganton, N.C., and was a longtime resident of Valdese, N.C. Mrs. Powell was the widow of Clifford Lenoir Powell. She was a member of Valdese United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Emogene Powell McNeely and her husband, Dr. Irwin H. McNeely; three grandchildren, Pamela M. Griffith, Mitzi M. Cobb and Irwin H. (Neil) McNeely Jr.; three great-grandchildren, John Blythe, Kelly Cobb and Irwin H. (Trey) McNeely III, all of Franklin, Va.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Burke Memorial Park, Morganton, N.C., by Rev. Dewey Bailey. The family suggests that memorials may be made to a local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
