Regarding George Hebert's ``Tone it down so we can hear'' (Perspectives, July 15): So what if he doesn't like commercials? By the title, I had hoped he was speaking out about the proliferation of excessive noise from car radios, stereos and TVs. The neighborhood may not be interested in listening to what those insensitive clods want to listen to.
Why can't loud people wear headphones? I'm sick and tired of being forced to listen to someone else's ``music.'' Whatever happened to peace, quiet and consideration?
