The Isle of Wight Industrial Development Authority will receive $445,000 in federal funds to develop an industrial park, U.S. Rep. Norman Sisisky's office announced Friday. The funds, awarded to Isle of Wight after a competitive application process, will go toward building the County Industrial Park and surrounding infrastructure.

Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate received a contract to manage and lease three buildings next to Military Circle Shopping Center in Norfolk. The Signet Bank, ITT and Circle East buildings, built in the '70s, were previously managed by Urban Retail Properties Co., which also runs the mall.

HONORS, AWARDS

Brickell & Associates Public Relations and the Virginia Beach Department of Convention and Visitor Development jointly received a Silver Anvil award for its project in the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of D-Day.

CONTRACTS

Whit-Williams Inc. in Chesapeake received a $526,400 contract from the city of Chesapeake for dredging of the Dunedin Lake.

Tidewater Construction Corp. in Norfolk received a $938,000 contract from the Navy for Pier 60 extension and Pier 61 modifications at the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek.

C.B.C. Enterprises Inc. in Norfolk received a $6.4 million contract from the Navy for Phase 1 of Camp Allen Family Housing at the Naval Station.

Hambright, Calcagno & Downing, a Virginia Beach advertising agency, received the advertising account from Virginia Beach-based International Family Entertainment's Ice Capades division.
