Military officials from Western Hemisphere nations - except for Cuba - will begin gathering today for an unprecedented meeting on security.
Thirty-three nations were invited to the inaugural Defense Ministerial of the Americas.
It's unclear how much Cuba will be discussed by the 200 officials expected at the three-day conference. ``They're interested in more pressing issues, like economic and military ties. Cuba was not a significant point'' during planning meetings, said a Pentagon spokesman. by CNB
