LILLIAN L. PERSON

Lillian Lear Person, of 403 B Cobb St., died July 23, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

A native of Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late William Person and Eula Mack Person. She retired from the dry-cleaning business after 50 years. She was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church and participated in the Senior Usher Board and Ladies Bible Class.

She is survived by one son, Lewis Person of Emporia, Va.; one daughter, Anna F. Rawling of Franklin, Va.; three brothers, Billie Person of Emporia, Va., Amos Person and Ben Randolph Person of Emporia; two sisters, Gyspy B. Malone of Tarboro, N.C., and Imell Blount of Boykins, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A fuenral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Mount Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. D.S. Adams. Burial will be in South View Cemetery. Elvin Vaughn Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
