JESSE LAMPLEY

Jesse ``Ray'' Lampley, 53, of 2381 Navajo Ct., formerly of Portsmouth, went to rest Thursday, July 20, 1995, at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond, Va.

A native of Columbus, Ga., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lampley. He was a member of the Revish Lodge, International Free and Accepted Modern Masons of Virginia and retired from Southeastern Virginia Training School of Chesapeake.

He is survived by four loving children, Hope and Kendo Lampley of Petersburg, Va., LaTanya Lampley of Columbus, Ga., and Alfred Mallory of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, James and his wife, Liz Lampley of London, England, and John Lampley of California; one sister, Dorothy Appling of Macon, Ga.; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.

The funeral services will be held in Columbus, Ga. The family may be contacted through Tuesday at 733-0372. Funeral services will be entrusted to Charles E. Houff International Funeral Home, 927 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ga. Telephone 706-322-8713.
