The National Kidney Foundation of Virginia is seeking donations of window-unit air conditioners for impoverished kidney patients whose daily fluid intake is medically restricted.
Thirty-five area kidney patients who survive on limited disability incomes are in dire need of air conditioners. Kidney Foundation representatives will pick up the air conditioners and deliver them to patients.
