Anne A. Martin, 74, of the 1100 block of Butts Station Road, passed away peacefully July 25, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk County and was a member of Centerville Baptist Church in Chesapeake. She was a retired employee with the Chesapeake Public School System and was the widow of Marvin E. Martin.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce Pecorale and Rhona Otvos, both of Florida; four sons, Randall Toonk of Florida, William Toonk of England, Barry Martin of Oklahoma, and Coleman Davis of Chesapeake; three sisters, Helen Adams of Chesapeake, Lydia Bookman and Mary Mosley, both of Virginia Beach; six brothers, Paul L. Brothers Jr. and Bobby Brothers, both of Chesapeake, Harry L. Brothers of Virginia Beach, Larry T. Brothers of North Carolina, Carl W. Brothers of Richmond and Kenneth W. Brothers of North Carolina; and several grand and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Danny L. Morris. The family will gather at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. for the viewing and fellowship.
