Gaye Radford Slusher, 85, of the 1100 block of Fontana Ave., died July 24, 1995.
She was a native of Floyd County, Va., and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Murl Slusher; four daughters, Velma Frost of Midway, W.Va., Bertha Rakes of Beckley, W.Va., Dorothy Loyell of Sophia, W.Va., and Dolly Heath of Midway, W.Va.; two step-daughters, Mary Fitzpatrick and Beatrice Phillips, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Gladys Hale of Charleston, W.Va. and Dolly Noonkester of Ballard, W.Va.; one brother, Thurman Radford of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Ann Farley.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
