Jimmie Christmas, of the 1600 block of Diamond Springs Road, died July 22, 1995.
He was a native of Warrenton, N.C., and was a maintenance worker with Driftwood Apartments.
Survivors include two sisters, Essie Brant of Philadelphia, Pa., and Eula M. Summerville of Warrenton, N.C.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; plus a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and a devoted friend, Mary Thorpe of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Community Funeral Home Chapel, Norfolk, by the Rev. Alvin B. Thomas. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
