Virgil Homer Dunford III, 62, of the 300 block of Florida Ave., died July 25, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Dunford was born in Norfolk and worked for the Naval Supply Center as a computer systems analyst. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Portsmouth where he was a lector.
He is survived by his wife, Winifred ``Sue'' Davis Dunford; one daughter, Erin Margaret Dunford of Portsmouth; and one son, Ian Clark Dunford of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Father James V. Carr in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. The body will be cremated. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
