Cardell ``Doctor'' Midgett, formerly of the 1100 block of Holt St., died July 23, 1995.
He was born in Hyde County, N.C. and served with the U.S. Army for 12 years. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one cousin, Mrs. Earline Roseboro.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday by Rev. Anthony Moses in Riverside Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
