The Museum of the Albemarle is seeking photographs of the home front in Northeastern North Carolina during World War II.
The museum is looking specifically for pictures that depict war-supporting efforts, such as scrap drives, civil defense, USO, manufacturing boats, ammunition, blimps or troop training.
Also sought are photos of family gatherings with or without military personnel, farming, fishing, towns, church activities, sporting events and social activities.
All photographs used will be copied and returned to the owners as soon as possible.
