Teodoro D. ``Ted'' Balbin, of the 1600 block of Ledgehill Court, died July 25, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Balbin was born in Victoria Tarlac, Philippines, and was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. He was also a member of FIL-AM Veterans of Tidewater and United Ilocano Association of Tidewater.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mila M. Balbin; one son, Jason T. Balbin of Washington D.C.; one daughter, Jocelyn Balbin of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Faustino Balbin and Francisco Balbin, both of the Philippines; a brother-in-law, Billy; sister-in-law, Elen Alegado of Orlando, Fla.; three nephews, Allan and Aries Alegado of Orlando, Fla., and Rey Balbin and family of New Jersey; and one cousin, Luz Balbin of Toronto, Canada.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 1995, in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, by Father Paschal Kneip OSB. A Prayer Service will be held Friday night at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, at 7 p.m. and the family will receive friends until 9 p.m. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
