Ada LaVerne White, 45, of the 800 block of E. 25th St., died July 26, 1995 in a local hospital.
She retired a year ago as an employee with the Norfolk Public Schools Special Education Office where she worked for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd White Jr.; one daughter, Sherron D. White of Norfolk; her father, Raymond M. Jones Sr.; three sisters, Deborah Jones, Sharon Burnham amd Valerie Jones, all of Norfolk; and two brothers, Raymond M. Jones Jr. of Portsmouth and Michael Jones of Norfolk. She was predeceased by her mother, Emma Jones.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Clemente Murphy. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
