Valerie Neth King Spencer, 40, of 1067 Holt St., died July 23, 1995 in Norfolk.
She was born in Norfolk and was a housewife.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonita Riddick, Emily Spencer, and Shannon Spencer; one daughter-in-law, Carshena Spencer; three sons, Tyrone Spencer, Louis Spencer and Brian Spencer; one son-in-law, Jeffrey Riddick; one sister, Vanessa King Ringer of Texas; two brothers, Louis King of Virginia Beach and Colia King of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Mario Veale, Valerie Spencer, and Tiarra Spencer; fiancee, Mr. Tyrone Mitchell; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Emily and Lewis King.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Macedonia Holiness Church, 7518 Merritt St., Norfolk, Va., by the Rev. Clinton Brown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Norfolk. Viewing will be Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at E.A. Hughes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Mr. Colia King, 408 Flint Lock Road, Chesapeake, 482-4274, and will assemble there at noon for the procession to the church.
