ALICE H. ELEY

Alice Hagan Eley, 71, died Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at her home.

Mrs. Eley was the daughter of John M. and Mary Ervin Hagan. She was a native of Virginia, attending Suffolk High School and Sullins College, in Bristol, Va. Mrs. Eley was married to Ralph Eley Jr. of Suffolk, Va. The family moved from Richmond, Va., to Morehead City in 1979. She was an active member of Brandywine Bay Golf Association.

She is survived by her two sons, Ralph Eley III of Morehead City and David H. Eley of Richmond, Va.; one sister, E. Jane Hagan of Laguna Hills, Calif.; one brother, John M. Hagan of Portsmouth, Va.; and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2005 Arendell St., or Webb Memorial Library, 812 Evans St., both in Morehead City, N.C. 28557, or Christian Appalachian Project, 322 Crab Orchard Road, Lancaster, Ky. 40446. Brooks Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., Morehead City, is handling the arrangements.
