Gerald Allen ``Clem'' Clements, 61, of the 600 block of Broomhill Ave., died July 28, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Connellsville, Pa., and was retired from Portsmouth Gas Co. after 25 years of service and was also the retired founder of Clem's Gas Appliance Service, Inc., founded in 1975.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly M. Clements; two daughters, Debbie Lavell and husband, Ronnie, and Dawn Marie Reynolds and husband, Michael; two sons, Carl A. Clements and wife, Lynn, and Steve Clements and wife, Pat, all of Portsmouth; one sister, Lois M. Cappy of Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, Harold D. Clements of Southern Pines, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Reid and Leslie Clements, Sam Reynolds and Tucker Lavell.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
