Charles William Learned III, 26, died Friday, July 28, 1995, at his residence in Virginia Beach, Virginia, of natural causes following a long period of declining health. He was a native of Portsmouth, Va., and was the son of Charles William Learned Jr., Capt. Ret. U.S.N., and Nancy Hogan Learned of Virginia Beach, Va. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Kristen Bouchard, Millinocket, Maine, Jane Learned of Virginia Beach and Rebecca Lambright of Houston, Texas, and his maternal grandmother, Nell F. Hogan of Hopewell, Va. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 31, 1995, 2 p.m. at the graveside in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Prince George County, Va. Father William Condon, pastor of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Colonial Heights, Va., officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to Sandbridge Community Chapel, 3041 Sandpiper Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
Mr. Learned's family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
