Lon Andrews Humphreys Jr., 35, of the 1000 block of Wilson St., died July 28, 1995, in Tupelo, MS. He was born in Norfolk, VA, and was Methodist by faith and held memberships in the A.G.O. Organ Guild. He is survived by his parents, Mr. Lon A. Humphreys Sr. and Mrs. Marcia L. Humphreys of Hertford, NC, two brothers, Gregory L. Humphreys of Hampton, VA, and Mark A. Humphreys of Goldsboro, NC, grandparents, Frank and Elva Harrington of Hertford, NC. The funeral service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Music Committee at Snug Harbor Community Church, Hertford, N.C. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
