Jessie Parker Wilder, 68, of the 800 block of Wright Ave., died July 29, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Wilder was born in Norfolk and was formerly employed as a secretary with First Presbyterian Church of South Norfolk, where she was also a member. She was organist, pianist and choir director for over 30 years, past president of Women of the Church and vice president of World Council of United Women.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon L. Wilder; two daughters, Susan Wethington and her husband Richard Wethington and Rebecca L. Wilder of Richmond; a stepson, Larry L. Wilder and his wife Susan B. Wilder of Glastonbury, Conn.; three grandchildren, Lindsay Wethington of Richmond, Christa Karen Wilder and Adam Thomas Wilder, both of Glastonbury.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Jan A. Scully. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.
