Ariel Goodson, 46, of 5780 Albright Drive, died July 30, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a member of Tidewater Artist Association, and Chesapeake Bay Watercolors Association. She was an artist, a poet, writer, and had received anthologies for her poetry.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Goodson, and one brother.
The burial will be private. Mrs. Goodson will be available for viewing at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, Thursday, and Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1290 Seminole Trail, Suite (NU)2, Charlottesville, Va. 22901.
