David A. Howard, 68, of the 2200 block of Willow Oak Circle, died Aug. 1, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and was Jewish. He was a developer of commercial real estate and had been currently employed with Pyle Realty for four years. He was a past president of the Tidewater Builders Association, past member of the Cavalier Yacht and Country Club, and a member of the Tidewater Association of Realtors. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Anita Lynne Howard of Virginia Beach; one son, Lawrence Jay Howard, and his wife, Laura Ann of Chicago, Ill.; and one sister, Eleanor Epstein of Massapequa, N.Y.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Zoberman. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
