JAMES A. VEST JR.

James Aurich ``Jay'' Vest Jr., 22, of the 900 block of Ashland Ave., died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1995, in Charlottesville.

Mr. Vest, son of James A. and Martha T. Vest of Bedford, was born on July 28, 1973. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Woodberry Forest School, he was a fourth-year student at the University of Virginia, where he was a member and former officer in DKE Fraternity.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Catherine Woodson Vest of Lynchburg; his maternal grandparents, Michael D. and Mary S. Twark of Forest.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rt. Rev. Frank H. Vest Jr., the Rev. James A. Creasy and Father James J. Begley officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Parish Hall following the service and other times at their home. Memorials may be made to either Camp Greenbrier, Route 2, Box 5-A, Alderson, W. Va., 24910; Amici Fund, Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Va., 22989 or DKE Fraternity, 1820 Carr's Hill Road, Charlottesville, Va. 22903.
