Martha Elizabeth Palmer, 68, formerly of 1018 Baugher Ave., died Aug. 2, 1995, in Chesapeake.
She was a retired coat finisher with London Fog Co., Inc., and was a native of Bland County, Va. She was Methodist.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan E. Lego and Sharon L. Morgan, both of Chesapeake; one son, Harry T. Palmer Jr. of Portsmouth; one sister, Elsie Cox of Pulaski, Va.; four grandchildren, Joel Fowler, Robert Hamm Jr., T.J. Palmer and Sierra Palmer.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hidden Valley Cemetery, Bland County, Va., by the Rev. Phil Taylor. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Foundation, 20 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
