Willie Moses Carter, 70, of the 500 block of Mulligan Dr., died Aug. 1, 1995 in Norfolk.
She was a native of Roanoke County, Va., and was Baptist. She was a retired sales clerk and assistant buyer with Smith and Welton.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie G. Carter Jr.; one daughter, Robbin Hicks of Suffolk; two sons, Ronald D. Carter of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Richard G. Carter of Charlottesville, Va.; five sisters, Hazel Mynes of Brooklyn, Md., Thelma Foster of Westminster, Md., Truby Moore, Glenna Brown and Etta Flinchum, all of Salem, Va.; one brother, Cecil Moses of Troutville, Va.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Sherwood Burial Park, Roanoke, Va. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling the local arrangements. The family will receive friends at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem, Va., Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
