David A. Ortiz, 23, of the 300 block of Bartell Dr., died Aug. 1, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
He was born in S. Ruislip, England, and worked with Management Information Concepts.
He is survived by his parents, Cheryl P. and Jorge U. Ortiz; one sister, Lia Ortiz; one sister-in-law, Suzanne Ortiz; two brothers, Jorge U. Ortiz Jr., and Jose M. Ortiz; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ortiz; three aunts, Carol Ortiz, Esther Ortiz and Monin Rodriquez, all of Chesapeake; two uncles, Luis Rodriquez of Chesapeake; and LeRoy Payseno of Newport News; and one niece, Erin Ortiz of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Ben Bonnici. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
