The body of what appeared to be a Hispanic man in his early 20s was found Wednesday morning in the 7900 block of Jerome Ave., police reported.
Police said a citizen discovered the body lying near a sidewalk about 6:15 a.m. Rescuers pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide. The man was not identified.
